Anybody planning to sometime observe AJ Styles line up with Kenny Omega and co. in AEW sooner rather than later would be prompted against holding their breath; The Phenomenal One has by and by affirmed that he intends to consider it daily when his current WWE arrangement lapses.

Talking on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory digital broadcast close by OC buddies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Styles repeated that will return home to his children toward the part of the arrangement - suggesting he has positively no enthusiasm for one last huge AEW payday:

"I can tell you that the contract that I signed, here in the WWE, is my last. This is it for me. This is where I'm going to end my career no matter what happens. I got to, you know? I want to be there for my kids."

The Georgian put pen to paper on new WWE terms this past March, joining up with the organization for a further five years. What this implies, at that point, is that Styles intends to hang up the gloves come 2024.

Clearly, a ton can occur in five years which could see AJ leave the advancement for fields new - or even resign ahead of time of his expressed end date. The 21-year veteran and submitted family man has habitually clarified his arrangements to envelop it with the following couple of years, so an augmentation past the stipulated end date appears to be far-fetched. Hell, we don't know by any chance know whether WWE and AEW will exist down the middle 10 years' time; it's essentially not worth guessing.
